This Policy applies only to websites operated by Hipstr Inc (collectively, “Site”). This Policy does not apply to affiliated entities of Hipstr Inc or to third parties.

In addition to our own websites and services, Hipstr provides technology that powers branded digital experiences, event registrations, kiosks, QR code activations, and other experiential marketing programs on behalf of Participating Brands (“Participating Brands”). When you interact with one of these experiences, Hipstr may collect, process, and store Personal Information solely as a service provider to the Participating Brand in accordance with our agreements with that Participating Brand and this Privacy Policy.

The Personal Information We Collect

Hipstr Inc only collects Personal Information that you voluntarily submit through our Site. “Personal Information” includes information such as your name, street and e-mail addresses, and telephone number(s). We use this information to send media that you requested from an event (IE Photo Booth photos), respond to your online queries, to keep track of customer feedback, and to improve our service to customers.

Personal Information Processed on Behalf of Participating Brands

Hipstr provides technology that powers digital experiences, event registrations, QR code activations, photo experiences, kiosks, surveys, and other experiential marketing programs on behalf of Participating Brands (“Participating Brands”).

When you participate in one of these experiences, Hipstr may collect and process Personal Information solely as a service provider or technology provider to the Participating Brand. The Participating Brand determines the purpose for which your Personal Information is collected and how it will be used, while Hipstr processes such information only as necessary to provide the requested services and in accordance with our agreements with the Participating Brand.

If you wish to exercise privacy rights relating to Personal Information collected during a Participating Brand's experience, you should contact that Participating Brand directly. Where appropriate, Hipstr will reasonably assist Participating Brands in responding to applicable privacy requests.

Uses of Personal Information

When you submit Personal Information or authorize the submission of Personal Information to the Site, you may be asked to decide how we may use your information. Unless we specifically tell you otherwise before you submit Personal Information, we will only use it to:

1. Better understand your viewing habits, desires, and needs;
2. Help us understand how we can improve our products, services, and website(s); and
3. Contact you to ask for your opinion or willingness to participate in certain activities or events.

Where you have provided your consent, Hipstr or the Participating Brand may contact you by email, SMS, or other communication channels regarding promotions, events, surveys, exclusive experiences, product announcements, or other marketing communications.

You may withdraw your consent at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions included in email communications or by replying STOP to SMS messages.

SMS & Mobile Communications

If you choose to opt in to receive SMS or MMS messages through a Hipstr-powered experience, you expressly consent to receive recurring marketing and informational text messages from the applicable Participating Brand. Message frequency varies depending on the program or promotion in which you enroll. Message and data rates may apply.

You may opt out of receiving SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any message. For assistance, reply HELP or contact us using the information provided in this Privacy Policy.

Your consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

Use of Cookies

Hipstr engages trusted third-party service providers to support the operation of our platform, including cloud hosting providers, analytics providers, messaging providers, payment processors, customer support providers, and other vendors necessary to operate and improve our services.

These service providers are authorized to process Personal Information only as necessary to perform services on Hipstr's behalf and are contractually obligated to safeguard such information.

How You Can Control the Use of Your Personal Information

Upon receiving and verifying your request to the best of our ability, we will delete your Personal Information from our records.

There are known methods that spammers can use to hide their identity by using other people's email address to send out emails. Hipstr retains Personal Information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, comply with applicable legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and support legitimate business operations.

When Hipstr processes Personal Information on behalf of a Participating Brand, we retain such information in accordance with our agreements with that Participating Brand and applicable law.

Security of Your Information

The security of your Personal Information is very important to us. We use technical and managerial procedures appropriate to protect your Personal Information and prevent its disclosure outside Hipstr Inc and those service professionals with whom we do business. Only those authorized by Hipstr Inc or you will be granted access to your Personal Information.
